Can’t sleep. Figured I better get some work done instead of just laying awake in bed. Here is a little peek of what I’m working on….

I’m pooped.
Earlier today I told Rose that I was pooped. Being the first time she had heard the expression she gave me a look of adorable, utter confusion. She replied, “what did you say Mommy?” I explained that yesterday I got up in the morning for an intense run, then I spent the day doing yard work. So, today I was sore and pooped. Trying to make sense of it she asked, “Mommy…. did you run to the bathroom to poop?” After explaining again, she fell over laughing…. and so did I.
Dear Rose, please don’t grow up.
Now on to Rachel and Lauren’s photos. When I asked Rachel and Lauren what it was like to be a twin they said that they enjoy it but that they forget that they are twins. They just feel like sisters. They rarely fight and it’s obvious how close they are. They’re completely at ease with eachother.
Having sisters is one of the best things…. EVER. My mom was the only girl in her family and always wanted a sister. God answered her prayers by giving her 6 daughters. I am so thankful he did. I adore my sisters and don’t know what I would do without them. I mean that.
Alyx is a wildly talented musician and writer….. just don’t ask her. She’s very modest about it. She is such a sweet girl. I can’t wait to incorporate her talents in to her next session.
This evening I had the pleasure of shooting Rachel & Lauren in Springfield. This was my first time shooting sisters together (yes, they are twins). It was a lot of fun. They are super laid back and sweet.
